A long-time vegetarian, I’ve found that a lot of people out there think that if you eat plant-based, you have to buy really expensive food. This is simply not the case. Beans, whole grains, and vegetables are not particularly expensive! Frozen meals, processed soy burgers and sausages, and canned soups are not only pricey, they’re not especially good for you.
The other misconception is that cooking has to be really complicated. Again, not so. You only need a few very basic cooking skills to whip up great meatless meals in no time!
My goal is to show people how easy it can be to cook tasty, nourishing food without breaking the bank, even in a cheese and potatoes town like Pittsburgh, PA.
I just found you blog and I love it! It is always so refreshing to find someone who eats and cooks the way we do!
